Here, when one quieted their mind, they did not hear the will of the Force; one heard the sounds of battle. One heard the cries of comrades lost and enemies felled, one felt the despair of battle and the grim determination of thousands of warriors. This was not a place that would be remembered as a great victory over the forces of evil, but as a humiliating defeat. On equal grounds the two sides fought and evil marched away victorious.

These battle-scarred ruins were where she walked. The blood-soaked cobblestones were long gone, and the sacred shrine the Jedi had given so much to protect had crumpled away to dust. All that was left were fragments of walls and overgrown stone walkways. As she walked she occasionally saw two or three figures locked in combat out of the corner of her eye. As she turned to watch they would vanish, as if a faint impression that someone else had tried very carefully to cover up had been left there,

As she moved deeper into the ruins, the despair and hatred grew thicker. She felt the anguish of loss and a burning rage at those who had destroyed the sacred place. The emotions that she felt were not her own, but ones forcefully created and thrusted into the minds of those who drew near. She knew that she was getting close.

As she reached the source of despair, she found herself in the only relatively intact part of the Temple. A massive room, full of pillars and platforms, all centered around a elevated stage that remained intact, protected from the ravages of time. The anger in this room was palpable. Each step whispered a new command to destroy and kill, her mind was imbued with bloodlust and rage.

Hello darkness, my old friend. She whispered upon reaching the stage, her voice coarse and dry, as if she hadnt spoken for days. Ive come to talk to you again.

Upon hearing her voice, all the rage, despair, and hatred concentrated on the stage as if summoned by a silent command. Coming from every corner of the ruins, it moved like a hurricane to the top of the stone platform. Stepping out of that hurricane came a giant of a man. Seven feet tall and half as wide, he was covered chest to toe in heavy black metal armor, etched with symbols that gleamed in silver and red. Over his armor he wore a massive billowing cloak that covered his whole body and trailed for several feet on the floor. He stepped forward, his armored boots clanging on the floor and echoing across the room.

-Who dares summon me?- He did not speak, but his deep bass voice thundered though her mind.

She did not answer in words, but rather threw her arm back, summoning her lightsaber and activating it as it flew to her outstretched hand.

	Steeling herself, she leapt.

His laughter, although unheard, shook all that remained of the temples foundation.
